Performance Director Gavin Larsen has shared an update following Sunday's home win over Durham.
Wicket-keeper Alex Davies and all-rounder Dan Mousley were both struck in the hand during the second innings, with Mousley not returning to action after receiving treatment.
“Dan left the field on Sunday and didn’t return after getting struck on the right hand whilst bowling,” said Larsen.
“He required stitches between the webbing of his ring finger and little finger and will be closely monitored by our medical team. We remain optimistic about his availability for Thursday’s quarter-final.
“Alex also took a blow to his hand whilst wicket-keeping, but he remained in the game, and we have no concerns about his fitness ahead of Thursday.”
