Seven match days. Three double-headers. One big local derby. There's loads to look forward to this summer with the Bears.
The new Vitality Blast season gets underway on Saturday 1 June with the return of Blast Off, the showpiece men’s T20 double-header match day.
In total, Birmingham will host seven match days across June and July as T20 cricket returns. There’s more Friday night and weekend action to look forward to, while the big Bears v Pears local derby has once again be handed a prime summer slot.
Fans can save £6 per ticket when purchased in advance of the day of the game. And you can make further savings when you book as a group.
Here’s what fans can expect this summer.
Saturday 1 June, 2.30pm & 6.30pm
Vitality Blast Off: Bears v Outlaws and Falcons v Foxes
Following the success of last season’s inaugural Blast Off, the event returns for a second year at Edgbaston as Derbyshire Falcons host Leicestershire Foxes (2.30pm) before the Bears take on Notts Outlaws (6.30pm).
A host of international talent are expected to be on show for the showpiece double-header which attracted over 14,000 fans in 2023, including Pakistan international Aamir Jamal and Bears’ new signings George Garton and Richard Gleeson. What’s more, in between games fans will be treated to an on-pitch performance from Heavy Beat Brass Band.
Tickets are available from only £27 for adults, £5 for under 16s. Four teams and two matches, experience the famous Edgbaston atmosphere and get behind the Bears in their home opener.
Saturday 8 June, 11.30am & 3.30pm
Bears v Durham and Central Sparks v Northern Diamonds
It’s our annual Family Fun Day bought to you by Circle Health, as the Bears welcome Durham to Edgbaston on Saturday 8 June, 3.30pm start, as part of a double-header day as Central Sparks face Northern Diamonds (11.30am).
We have a full day of family entertainment to enjoy around the stadium, including inflatables, live music from Sampad Arts, facepainters, balloon modellers and we will be joined by West Midlands Fire and Police vehicles too.
Watch stars of both the women’s and men’s games including Issy Wong, Hassan Ali, Moeen Ali, Amy Jones, Mark Wood, to name a few who could be in action.
Fans can get tickets for only £18, while under 16s are £5 and under 5s go free.
Friday 14 June, 2.30pm & 6.30pm
Bears v Yorkshire Vikings and Central Sparks v Thunder
A third double-header in two weeks and our first Friday night T20 of the summer. Central Sparks kick-off the day against the Thunder at 2.30pm, before the Bears take on Yorkshire Vikings from 6.30pm. The post-match party will be provided by Under the Covers.
Start your weekend right with the Bears with friends or colleagues after work for the big clash against a Vikings team that could include Joe Root and more big names.
This fixture will also see the Bears celebrate the Blast winning side of 2014, with interviews from those who were involved in that memorable season.

Thursday 20 June, 7pm
Bears v Northants Steelbacks
Football and cricket. Perfect evening out. Join us after work for a Thursday night clash as the Bears host Northants Steelbacks, 7pm start.
Gates will open from 4.30pm to allow fans in to watch England v Denmark Euro 2024 fixture from 5pm on our big screen, with bars and food available for the big match, all before the live T20 action starts.
The match sits in the middle of the campaign with the Bears looking to put themselves in a place to secure a quarter-final place.
Friday 12 July, 6.30pm
Bears v Worcestershire Rapids
The biggest T20 of the summer is back at Edgbaston. It’s the Bears v Pears local derby, a match which attracted almost 17,000 fans in 2023.
With a near capacity crowd, it’ll offer an electric atmosphere for the primetime Friday night match as the Bears look to win a fifth home derby in a row and claim local bragging rights.

Bears v Derbyshire Falcons
Our last weekend T20 of the summer, Bears host Derbyshire Falcons on Sunday 14 July (2.30pm start) as the fight for the quarter-final places pick up.
This is also our Junior Bears takeover day, as our young fans get the opportunity to help with the running of a match day including a junior reporter and junior announcer role. Junior Bears Memberships are available for only £10.

Friday 19 July, 7pm
Bears v Leicestershire Foxes
The final home group match of the summer as the Bears host the Foxes on Friday 19 July (7pm start) seeking a place in the quarter-finals.
The Friday night clash under the lights will see lots going on off the field including live music pre match from local artists, Jonny Allen and Esther Turner, while post match music will be provided by Under the Covers, so you start your weekend right.
