Sam Hain believes it's important the Bears don't dwell on Friday's defeat at Emirates Old Trafford.

The Bears fought back after a strong Lancashire start to restrict the hosts to 176/8 and looked in prime position to chase down the target.

But with wickets falling in the middle overs, the Bears would ultimately fall on the wrong side, nine runs short of target.

“I think it was a gettable target,” said the Talbots Law Player of the Match. “Credit to Lancs, I thought [Luke} Wellsy batted beautifully and bowled just as good. We thought as batting unit that it was definitely in reach to get.

“We lost wickets potentially at the wrong time in terms of momentum and that swinging back in Lancs’ favour. We know we’re playing good cricket, but we’re going to lose some along the way.

“We have to dust ourselves down, get back on the M6 and we have another game tomorrow (against Durham).”
