Corkfield Apartment Complex
The second Phase of Edgbaston’s Masterplan came to fruition in late 2023 with the opening of the Corkfield apartment complex.
Built on disused land adjacent to the stadium, the apartments were seven years in the planning and took three years to construct and furnish. But they were worth the wait!
Corkfield consists of 375 high-spec apartments, underground parking, 14,000 sq ft of retail space, a rooftop terrace overlooking the stadium, and landscaped courtyard.
And within months of opening, Corkfield had won a prestigious accolade having been named Apartment Development of the Year at the Insider Midlands Residential Property Awards.
The Club’s works as part of the project included a new entrance piazza and car parking zones totalling over 15,000 square metres.
The piazza has been used for community, cultural and social events including the India v Pakistan ICC T20 World Cup Fan Zone, a Digbeth Dining Club experience, and an innovative artwork installation in partnership with the nearby Midland Arts Centre (MAC).
More than 800 people are expected to live at Corkfield and we look forward to building a vibrant new community with our neighbours.
