England spinner Georgia Davis has been announced as the first ever Bears Women Captain and will lead the side in their historic debut season.
Davis – who made her England bow last September against Ireland – will skipper the side in all of the T20, 50-over, and County Cup formats.
The 25-year-old is a Bear through and through having joined Warwickshire aged 10 in the youth pathway and making her debut for Warwickshire Women aged 15.
She described being awarded the captaincy as a very special moment in her career.
