On Friday, 6th June 2025, Warwickshire County Cricket Club, alongside the Warwickshire Cricket Foundation, proudly celebrated Pride Month by flying the Pride flag at Edgbaston and recognising Rainbow Laces during our T20 double-header – Bears v Somerset Women and Bears v Yorkshire Men.
The day was an opportunity to show visible support for our LGBTQ+ players, supporters, and staff, and to reinforce that cricket is a game for everyone.
This year’s Rainbow Laces theme, “Lace Up and Make Sport Safer for All”, speaks directly to the goals of our Edgbaston for Everyone initiative: to make cricket more inclusive, welcoming, and representative of the diverse communities we serve.
Through the work of the Warwickshire Cricket Foundation, the guidance of our Inclusion Advisory Board, and the commitment of the entire Warwickshire family, we continue to build a game we can all be proud of!
