Bears won the toss and Captain Georgia Davis opted to bat. Two early wickets meant the loss of Austin and Surenkumar. Perrin seemed to pick up the pace after hitting four, fours in one over however was then dismissed by being caught. Kalis then entered the pitch and powered to a 50 off of 38 balls. Harris and George kept up the pace before Bears reached 149/8 at the end of the 20 overs. In the second innings Brett set the tone as she took a wicket in her first over, followed quickly by taking the second wicket of the innings. Somerset began to get back into the game but a wicket by Davis and a Caught and Bowled by Baker stopped that momentum. Some excellent fielding and glove work allowed the Bears to show why they were third in the T20 Table.
