
Birmingham Phoenix can confirm that Head Coach Daniel Vettori has left the Club following the conclusion of the 2025 Hundred season.
The New Zealander oversaw four seasons as Phoenix Head Coach, with a best finish of third in 2024, in addition to a runner-up finish in 2021 when he was interim Head Coach.
James Thomas, Birmingham Phoenix Performance Director, said: “Everybody associated with the Birmingham Phoenix thanks Dan for his hard work and dedication over the last four years.
“His prior experience of working in franchise cricket has been invaluable during the formative years of the Birmingham Phoenix and Dan leaves us in a great position to grow and progress in the years to come.
“The process of appointing a new coaching team is under way and we will make an announcement in due course.”
Daniel Vettori said: “I have loved every minute of working with the Birmingham Phoenix and will look back on my time at Edgbaston with nothing but fondness. “My sincere thanks go to Craig, James, Stuart, the Board of Directors and the players and performance staff for their trust in me during my time with the Phoenix and I wish them all the best for the future.”
