The 2026 Vitality Blast season is quickly approaching and the huge double header against Somerset on Sunday 24 May is set to be a cracker, with a lots of activities planned for Blast Off.

We’ll be bringing a festival-style matchday alongside an unmissable Vitality Blast Double Header against Somerset, with both our Women’s and Men’s teams in action. It’s set to be a full day out for all ages, with a packed programme of off-field entertainment to enjoy before, between and after the cricket.

Supporters can expect live performances and music throughout, with the Fan Park Stage hosting a high-energy Legally Blonde performance alongside sets from DJ Patty, keeping the atmosphere buzzing all day long. Inside the Exhibition Hall, live music will provide the perfect backdrop to food, drink and matchday build-up.

Families and younger fans will be spoilt for choice, with the Kid Zone inflatables offering non-stop fun, while face painters will be on hand to add a splash of colour to the day. For those looking to try something new, there’s the chance to take aim with archery, tackle the climbing wall, or explore the immersive caving experience – all designed to add an extra sense of adventure to Blast Off.

There will also be the opportunity to get up close with the West Midlands Fire Service, learn more about their work and see their equipment in action, making it a great hands-on experience for curious minds of all ages.
