Registrations are open to attend our free Women’s World Cup networking lunch, taking place at Edgbaston Stadium on Wednesday 27 May.

Coinciding with Warwickshire Women’s Metro Bank One Day Cup fixture against The Blaze, you can now register to attend the celebration of women’s sport.

Beth Peers, Marketing Manager at Warwickshire County Cricket Club, said: “This is a great opportunity for anyone that wants to network with others in the industry, but also to learn more about the impact we can all have on women’s sport.

“We’ve put together a really good schedule which people can hopefully take plenty away from ahead of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup which starts next month.

“It’s great that there’s a game on during the day, so anyone attending will be able to watch Warwickshire Women in action.”

At 1pm, attendees will have the opportunity to take a deeper look into the Marketing Strategy behind the Women’s World Cup as well as allowing for networking opportunities.

Running from 1:30pm there will be several workshops, covering the Importance of Sports Bras, Women’s Health in Sport, Allyship in Sport and there will also be a Networking Masterclass.

The event is family friendly, with a kids’ Bears classroom session taking place for children. On the day, attendees can also enjoy a free stadium tour of Edgbaston.
