The 2026 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup begins today at Edgbaston Stadium, with England taking on Sri Lanka.

Two days later, the Netherlands take on Bangladesh and Pakistan face India in a huge Sunday doubleheader, before the last of the World Cup action at Edgbaston takes place between Pakistan and South Africa on Wednesday 17 June.

With thousands set to be in attendance at The People’s Home of Cricket across the four fixtures, here’s what you can expect…

Ever fancied yourself as a commentator or reporter? This might be your chance. Sky Sports have a green screen set up in the fan village, where you can step into a number of different sports presentation scenarios.

For any fans of Hello Kitty, there’s a meet and greet and photo opportunities.

Performances

There will be a performance from Wicked, and the Dhol Brass Duo will also be on hand with a welcome that you won’t want to miss.

Keep a look out for…

Coca-Cola are in attendance, as are Hyundai and Emirates. There will be pyrotechnics used, flag bearers, food vendors and much more.
