Ahead of the Investec Test Series vs Pakistan , England have the rare opportunity to complete a clean sweep and hold all nine Test trophies at the same time.
While this may come as a surprise to some, England’s win over Sri Lanka means they now hold eight of the nine Test trophies available and Alastair Cook and the boys will be doing all they can to ensure they stamp their dominance on the Test cricket world.
England have already had the opportunity to hold all nine trophies simultaneously, but lost 2-0 to Pakistan in the United Arab Emirates prior to Christmas. England now have the chance to make amends for the UAE defeat and will be desperate to dominate Pakistan on home soil.
Edgbaston are holding the third Investec Test Match, and if the results go England’s way in the first two games, chances are that Alastair Cook’s men could complete their trophy cabinet collection in the incredible Test Match atmosphere of Edgbaston.
