The ICC Champions Trophy 2017 is back in Birmingham and we are delighted to be hosting four unbelievable games in the group stages as well as the second semi-final of this global competition. Edgbaston will also host three of the biggest rivalries in world cricket which will include some of the best players in the world.
Defending champions India launch their campaign for back-to-back titles against traditional rivals Pakistan when the two Asian powerhouses go head to head at Edgbaston on Sunday 4 June. The 18-day tournament will run from 1 18 June 2017 and will also see matches played at the Cardiff Wales Stadium and The Oval in London.

The top eight sides on the MRF Tyres ICC ODI Team Rankings on 30 September 2015 have qualified for this tournament, with world champions Australia seeded number-one. Australia head Group A, which also includes fourth seed New Zealand, sixth see England and seventh seed Bangladesh, who will be returning to this competition for the first time since 2006.
Defending champions India are seeded second and lead Group B, which also comprises of third seed South Africa, fifth seed Sri Lanka and eight seed Pakistan. The top two sides from each group will progress to the semi-finals, which will be played at Cardiff and Edgbaston on 14 and 15 June respectively, with The Oval hosting the final on the 18 June.

Australia v New Zealand: Friday 2 June – This southern hemisphere ICC derby kicks off #CT17 and offers a repeat of the 2015 World Cup final. With world-class players and national rivalry on both sides, expect this to be closely fought and fier match-up.
India v Pakistan: Sunday 4 June – One of the bets games in world cricket returns to Edgbaston and no doubt one of the biggest rivalries in world cricket. There has been huge demand for this fixture already and no doubt the atmosphere will be one not to forget.
Pakistan v South Africa: Wednesday 7 June (Day/Night fixture) – Last time these teams met it was one of the highlights in the 2015 ICC World Cup. This time around both teams will be hungry for points as the #CT17 group stages start to heat up and the outcome of this game could prove to be decisive for both teams.
England v Australia: Saturday 10 June – One of the oldest and most fierce rivalries returns to Edgbaston as Australia seek revenge for the 48 run defeat they were dealt in 2013.
Second Semi-Final: Thursday 15 June – The ICC Champions Trophy 2017 isn’t just an ODI competition, it’s one of the best tournaments in global sport. This semi-final fixture promises to showcase One-Day cricket at the very highest level and offers fans the chance to experience a truly historic game at one of the world’s best stadiums.
