Spectators sat within Edgbaston’s iconic Eric Hollies Stand will be able to capture their own emotions at this Friday’s NatWest T20 Blast derby, between Birmingham Bears and Worcestershire Rapids, thanks to Snaptivity.
Edgbaston is working in partnership with Snaptivity, which allows supporters to download live photos of themselves celebrating, frowning and cheering when wickets fall, boundaries are hit and key decisions are made in the game. Supporters simply need to be located in the Eric Hollies Stand, download the Snaptivity app and then enter their seat number to view the live photos.
Gareth Roberts, Commercial Director at Warwickshire County Cricket Club, said: “The nature of Twenty20 cricket allows the game to change very quickly and our supporters go through a whole range of emotions.
“Snaptivity will capture these moments and provide supporters with an incredible photographic account of their evening cheering on the Bears.
“Our NatWest T20 Blast matches continue to grow in popularity and we’re investing even more each year in enhancing the match day experience. We’re delighted that Snaptivity share our ambitions and look forward to working with them this summer. “
Birmingham Bears play seven home games in the group stages of the NatWest T20 Blast, with five matches scheduled on Friday nights and two games to be played on Sundays as T20 Double Headers, with a Birmingham Bears Women’s match following the men’s fixture.
Amit Pate, CEO Snapify Ltd, said: “We are proud to partner with Edgbaston for fans experiences enhancement and delivering bright cricket moments to the fans and spectators of NatWest T20 Blast matches. We look forward to capturing the excitement and electricity of cricket this summer.”
