The former West Indies paceman will come straight into the Bears squad for tonight’s local derby with Worcestershire Rapids at Blackfinch New Road and is available for the opening 10 games of the Vitality Blast campaign.
Paul Farbrace, Sport Director at Warwickshire CCC, said:
“Fidel is high class fast bowler, who has played international cricket across
all three formats, and we’re very grateful to Hampshire for allowing him to
come to Edgbaston at such short notice.
“It’s well known that our seam bowling resources have been
stretched in recent weeks, but the addition of Fidel bolsters our attack as we
enter this important opening weekend of the Vitality Blast.”
