“It’s early days so far, but the signs are pretty positive,” said Giles.
“Division Two cricket is different to Division One and you’d expect the quality to be a little bit less.
“But so far, top of the league, three wins out of four matches and some really good individual performances.
“You touched on the new players, but what we have seen is a dovetailing effect of all of the players really. Some of our experienced players, but some of the new guys (Will) Rhodes, (Ryan) Sidebottom’s got wickets, (Olly) Stone, who is not as new as some but has been out with injury for quite a long period, all putting key performances in to win us games”
