Stone and Woakes in a 16-strong squad for the five-match ODI series against Sri Lanka
England National Cricket Selectors have named Warwickshire fast bowler Olly Stone alongside all-rounder Chris Woakes in a 16-strong squad for the five-match One-Day-International series against Sri Lanka starting on October 10 in Dambulla.
Liam Plunkett will miss the first three ODIs for his wedding. He will be available for the fourth and fifth ODIs.
Yorkshire all-rounder David Willey was not considered for selection due to a back injury.

Ahead of the current Specsavers County Championship match against Sussex in Hove, Stone had taken 55 wickets across all formats for the Bears this season, including 12 in the Royal London One-Day Cup at an average of 28.16.
The squad departs for Colombo on Sunday September 30.
