Nash holds the unfortunately record of being the victim of Sir Garfield Sobers six sixes
Former Glamorgan bowler Malcolm Nash is the confirmed speaker for the next meeting of the Midlands branch of the Cricket Society on Tuesday 19 February.
Starting at 8pm Nash, who holds the unfortunately record of being the victim of Sir Garfield Sobers six sixes in Swansea in 1968, will speak about his remarkable career, which included 993 First Class and 224 List A wickets.
Born in Abergavenny, Nash made his debut for his home county, Glamorgan in 1966 and was captain for the 1980 and 1981 seasons. He retired in 1983 and subsequently enjoyed two further years with Shropshire in the Minor Counties Championship.
