Warwickshire County Cricket Club has agreed a new commercial partnership with Oldbury-based heating services contractors Lord Combustion Services to be an official partner for the next three years.
Specialising in the service, maintenance, design and installation of commercial heating and hot water systems, Lord Combustion Services employs 50 staff at its Oldbury headquarters, and will benefit from stadium branding and match day hospitality at Warwickshire’s Edgbaston Stadium across the three years of the partnership.
The agreement also extends to supply, with Lord assisting Edgbaston’s facilities team with the servicing of its current heating systems and in providing solutions that improve efficiencies.
As a club, we have ambitions to make Edgbaston the most environmentally efficient cricket venue in the UK and leveraging the support of Lord Combustion Services can help us achieve this goal.

Securing the partnership early in the 2019 season gives Lord an opportunity to utilise branding opportunities at Edgbaston during one its biggest programmes of international cricket, including the opening Test of the Specsavers Ashes series on 1 August.
