Heading into 1994, the Bears were confident.
By June, Warwickshire – led by Coach Bob Woolmer and Captain Dermot Reeve – were competing on all fronts with a well-balanced and confident outfit.
The first chance at silverware came at Lord’s in the Benson and Hedges Cup on July 9 with a local derby against Worcestershire raising the stakes.
