Back home
World class all-rounder Mo returned to his hometown Club in 2023 after a 16 year absence saying he had “unfinished business” with the Bears.
Birmingham-born Mo, who attended Moseley School, came through the Edgbaston Academy and was the second-youngest batter to score a first-class half-century for the Club before joining Worcestershire.
A stellar international career followed, bringing more than 250 appearances for England for whom he has scored more than 1,000 runs in each of the three formats.
“I’m delighted to return home to Edgbaston. I was born and raised just a few miles away from the stadium. When the opportunity presented itself, it was a decision I couldn’t say no to and I believe I have unfinished business at the Bears.”
