Fans of the Birmingham Bears will be able to watch four home Blast games in 2020 as part of a new online show, Bears Den TV, presented by BBC presenters Beccy Wood and Adam Bridge.
The new Bears Den TV show, which will start 15 minutes before play, will feature player and coach interviews and input on the game from wicket-keeper and 2014 Blast winner Tim Ambrose and Club Journalist Brian Halford.
What’s more, Bears fans can watch all of the action on a smartphone or tablet through the new Edgbaston app, and get involved with a number of polls, quizzes and other interactive elements that fans can engage with throughout the game.
Tom Rawlings, Head of Media and Communications at Warwickshire CCC, said: “Watching the Bears at Edgbaston is a great family experience and we wanted to do as much as we can do recreate that experience at home in this 2020 Vitality Blast campaign.
“Similar to what we do for Vitality Blast home games, there will be a chance to get your match day photos on the live stream, vote for Player of the Match and also win prizes through our interactive competitions on the Edgbaston app.

To support Bears fans watching the Vitality Blast campaign from home, the live stream will also have two moving cameras located behind the bowler’s arm at each end of the ground, which will run alongside the four fixed cameras that have been operating in Warwickshire’s Bob Willis Trophy matches versus Northamptonshire and Somerset.
Fans are being encouraged to show their support for the Bears by creating a Bears Den at home, with pics that are tagged with #BearsDen on social media being shown on screen through the live stream. For further details on creating a Bears Den, check out edgbaston.com.
Bears v Gloucestershire on Thursday 2 September will be broadcast live on Sky Sports.
