Ahead of tomorrow’s Royal London International between England and Pakistan, Edgbaston Stadium has secured a new partnership with the Edgbaston Park Hotel.
Edgbaston Park Hotel and Conference Centre is a contemporary, 4-star hotel just a five-minute drive from Edgbaston Stadium. It is the nearest hotel to the cricket ground and is only two miles away from Birmingham city centre. The hotel is ideally placed for Birmingham’s main transport links, with ‘University’ train station in close proximity. Edgbaston hosts its second major match fixture of the 2021 season next week when England face Pakistan in the Royal London International on Tuesday 13 July.
The match will accommodate an 80 per cent capacity crowd as per the Government’s Events Research Programme and it follows on from the successful hosting of a 70 per cent capacity crowd through a similar pilot at the men’s Test match between England and New Zealand in mid-June.
