New for 2026, reusable Smart Cups will be in operation, which automatically refund your £1 deposit on return.

New for 2026 – Smart Cups

Introducing our new Smart Cup, the UK’s first automated cup return system.

Spectators will pay a £1 deposit for each reusable RFID cup with their drink purchase. Every drink will be served in a clean reusable cup, and once finished, simply return your cup to one of the designated return points around the ground to receive your deposit back, automatically. That’s why it’s smart.

There is no limit on how many cups can be returned at one time, and the system applies to both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

Cups can be returned to our designated Smart-Cup refund points and can be returned regularly throughout the day, to help avoid congestion at the end of play.
