Birmingham Bears is supporting mental health awareness with “It’s Good to Talk” campaign which will encourage children, family, friends and communities to talk, listen and change lives.
Today is Time to Talk Day, the nation’s biggest mental health conversation and a day all about creating supportive communities by having conversations about mental health. We all have mental health, by talking about it we can support ourselves and others.
The Bears aim to support communities up and down the county to have more mental health conversations than ever before. Conversations about mental health have the power to change lives.
Throughout the year, the Bears will be supporting the “It’s Good to Talk” campaign to spark conversation and to reinforce the Bears value of expressing yourself and encouraging others to do the same.
More information about “It’s Good to Talk” will be announced in the coming months, starting with Children’s Mental Health Week from 7-13 February.
If you need any support and advice regarding mental health, you can speak to Mind charity with information available on their website: mind.org.uk.
