Jake Lintott admits it was disappointed dressing room following the Bears first defeat of their Vitality Blast campaign.
Unbeaten in their opening three, Carlos Brathwaite’s were set 153 to win following Lintott’s four for 27.
But with wickets falling regularly and needing too much in the final over, it was the Foxes who ended the hosts 100 per cent record.
“It’s a disappointing one for us and we would have loved to get another win on the board,” Lintott said. “Fair play to Leicestershire they’ve got to a total that’s quite challenging on that wicket and we’ve probably not executed our skills with bat or ball.
“It’s one of those days and we’ve got to move on really quickly. Luckily in this tournament we can and we’ll be trying to bounce back and replicate the cricket we’ve played so far in the tournament.”
