Birmingham Bears Lead Partner Talbots Law will be gifting their match sponsorship for the Vitality Blast match against Worcestershire Rapids to Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity.
As the law firm’s designated charity for 2022, Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity will be activating at this Friday’s T20 at Edgbaston Stadium, raising funds to support the work the charity is doing to support hundreds of brave children and their families across the West Midlands.
On the night, fans can support the charity in many ways including taking part in our ‘Bears Bowlathon’ for a chance to win tickets to Vitality Blast Finals Day, purchase a special Bears foam finger or Bears cuddly toy or text DOMORE to 70025 to donate £5* – 100% of your donation will go to the charity.
Helen Miles, Head of Corporate Partnerships at Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity, said: “Talbots Law has supported our Hospital Charity since 2017 and in that time has gone above and beyond to do more for our patients and their families. Offering us the sponsorship for such an important match is just another example of how supportive the team is.
“The funds raised will go a long way to making a huge difference to the lives of our brave children and their families as we continue our plans to improve our hospital – enabling us to treat even more children from Birmingham, the West Midlands and around the country. We’d like to thank Dave Hodgetts and all the team at Talbots Law once again for this generous gesture.”
Dave Hodgetts, CEO of Talbots Law, said: “The decision to donate our sponsorship of this huge fixture to Birmingham Children’s Hospital wasn’t a difficult one. This platform could help to raise vital funding and awareness for an incredibly deserving cause and we know that the 20,000-strong crowd in Edgbaston on the night will join us in showing their appreciation and gratitude for this remarkable service.
“We have multiple staff members here at Talbots who’ve relied on the care of the Hospital and this, alongside our various other fundraising initiatives, is something that we can do to make sure families can receive support in their moment of greatest need.”
Ben Seifas, Head of Sales and Partnerships at Birmingham Bears added: “To be part of the fundraising opportunity for such a worthy Midlands charity has been an honour. Following the previous couple of years, we have all come to realise how vital our NHS is and as a club, we are proud to be able to show support and drive awareness through our busy match day fixtures.”
