Vitality Blast Off is back and the Bears will launch their home T20 campaign with a huge men’s double-header featuring two big Midlands rivalry games.

The event returns for a second year at Edgbaston on Saturday 1 June as Derbyshire Falcons host Leicestershire Foxes (2.30pm) before the Bears take on Notts Outlaws (6.30pm).

Tickets will include entry to both matches. And with our Ticket Refund Guarantee, your money is safe too if there is no result due to bad weather.

Why has Blast Off changed for 2025?

With the introduction of Tier 1 professional women’s teams, Blast Off has changed for 2025 to feature both Bears Men and Women.

The fixture, which will be our annual Family Fun Day, is the first home Vitality Blast match day at Edgbaston next summer as Bears Men and Women face Durham on Saturday 31 May.  Start times TBC.

Tickets for Blast Off will go on general sale from 10am on Tuesday 19 February. Ticket holders will get access to both games. For more information, visit edgbaston.com/blastoff.

The showpiece men’s double header has moved to Saturday 14 June and rebranded as MidlandsMania. This will feature two Midlands rivalry games as Derbyshire Falcons host Leicestershire Foxes, before Bears take on Notts Outlaws.

Tickets for MidlandsMania will go on general sale from 10am on Thursday 12 December.

How do I purchase tickets for Blast Off?

Early Bird tickets are available from only £27 for adults and £5 for under 16s, and include access to both men’s fixtures on the day. But these prices must end on 1 May.

Tickets can be purchased online at tickets.edgbaston.com.

Members and Season Pass holders

Members and Season Pass holders can claim a free ticket for this match day as part of your Membership. Tickets must be claimed in advance. To claim, simply log-in to your online account. For a step-by-step guide, click here.

Is Blast Off a group fixture for the Bears and Derbyshire?

Yes. As the home teams, the fixtures at Vitality Blast Off will be classified as a home North Group fixture for both teams.

Do Members and Blast Pass holders need to claim a ticket for Blast Off?

No, not for 2025.

Members and Blast Pass holders can simply scan their card at the gate on entry and sit in any available stands.

Can Members use their guest passes for Blast Off?

Yes, for 2025 Members and Blast Pass holders can use any guest passes for the Blast Off double-header.

To use your guest pass, simply log-in to your online account.

What is the refund policy for Vitality Blast Off?

If, for the day for which the ticket is valid, play does not take place OR play is restricted, you will be entitled to a refund of the match ticket value only subject to the below:

(a) if neither match achieve a result – a full 100%;
(b) if one match achieves a result but (i) there are zero to 9.5 overs played of the second match and no result is obtained – a 50% refund.

In no other circumstances can money be refunded. Booking fees are non-refundable.

Refunds will be processed automatically back to the original payment method. Please note, no refunds will be issued on the day of the fixture. Please allow 60 days from receipt of claim for us to process your refund. For refund queries please email tickets@edgbaston.com.

Can I purchase hospitality for Blast Off?

Yes. Hospitality packages for Vitality Blast Off will be available from official provider, Keith Prowse.

Is there a Family Stand at Edgbaston?

Yes, the Family Stand is located in Blocks 1-3. The family-friendly stand, which is alcohol-free, is open on all match days.

No alcohol is allowed to be consumed when seated in the Blocks 1-3 and this will be monitored by stewards on match days.

Behind this stand, concessions will be serving family-friendly food and drink and no alcohol will be served.

If you have tickets for the Family Stand and wish to purchase alcohol, you may do so at concessions located around the ground, but you will not be allowed entry into the Family Stand with alcohol.

 

What accessibility facilities are available for spectators?

At Edgbaston we pride ourselves on being able to offer world-class facilities that are accessible to everyone.

Around the ground there are a number of wheelchair user areas, which are located within the stands ensuring that fans are still a part of the fantastic Edgbaston atmosphere. The stadium is also accessibility friendly with a host of lifts, ramps and staircases around the ground. Additionally on match days our stewarding team are available to provide assistance and direction for all fans.

Seats

We have wheelchair access seating in the West Upper, South Lower and Eric Hollies. There are also a selection of seats on the Skyline and in our two Members areas; the Tom Dollery Lounge and the David Heath Suite.

 

Parking

A limited number of disabled parking spaces are available on-site at Edgbaston Stadium. We encourage anyone seeking to purchase disabled parking to do so as early as possible to avoid disappointment.

Multifaith Room

Multifaith Rooms are available in the South Stand on the first floor, next to the 501* Lounge, and behind the Selco Builders Warehouse Family Stand.

Speak to one of our friendly stewards who can help direct you to one of the room.

 

Sensory Rooms

Sensory Rooms are available for children and adults with sensory processing issues to attend a match in a calm environment at Edgbaston Stadium.

The specially designed spaces are located in the South Stand and in the RES Wyatt Stand.

How do I sell tickets on the Ticket Exchange re-sale platform?

Edgbaston has launched an official Ticket Exchange re-sale platform to allow ticket buyers who can no longer attend a Major Match to sell their tickets, at no charge, to other supporters.

It’s easy to sell tickets via the platform. Follow the step-by-step guide below:

  1. Log-in to your online ticket account at tickets.edgbaston.com
  2. On My Homepage, scroll down and click on View Tickets
  3. Find the tickets you want to re-sell and follow the instructions on screen

Please note, tickets can only be sold at face value or less.

Once tickets have been sold on the re-sale platform, you can no longer access these tickets and you will automatically receive a refund back to your original payment method (please allow 3-5 working days). If your card is no longer valid, your refund will appear as credit on your account and you can contact us to organise alternative payment back to you.

If you have listed tickets on to the Ticket Exchange and change your mind, you can re-claim your tickets if they haven’t already been sold via your account.

Will Car Parking be available to purchase?

We encourage spectators, who are able to, to leave the car at home and use public transport wherever possible.

Off-site parking is available to purchase in advance for all Major Matches, Vitality Blast T20 and The Hundred matches at Edgbaston.

Parking will be available at Moseley Ashfield Britannic Park (Pink Car Park, B13 8NQ) and can be purchase in advance online here. This site is around a 15-minute walk to the stadium.

A limited number of on-site Accessible Parking is available for Blue Badge holders to book on a first-come, first-serve basis online here. If you have any questions about Accessible Parking, please email tickets@edgbaston.com.

2025 TICKETS
