Warwickshire County Cricket Club’s business networking community – the Bears Business Club – has relaunched for the 2023 season with a new schedule of exclusive events.
Bears Business Club brings together likeminded professionals from local businesses, facilitating networking opportunities across the year along with a range of additional benefits.
Current member companies include SMEs and some larger organisations across sectors including professional services, creative agencies, construction, automotive, facilities services and consumer goods.
Across the three tiers of membership, there is something to suit all budgets, with members receiving access to a range of fantastic benefits at all levels.
The 2023 event schedule features:
Wednesday 22 March – Bears Club Season Launch
The Business Club’s curtain-raising networking event, bringing together Bears Business Club members as we look towards the start of the new season. The team heading Edgbaston’s sustainability push will take centre stage for an open forum on the stadium’s ambitions, with the aim of hosting the UK’s first carbon neutral cricket match in 2023.
Friday 21 April – Warwickshire CCC Golf Day
The Warwickshire Golf & Country Club is the venue for the annual Golf Day, providing the perfect opportunity to host clients, build your network and make new connections out on the course. The challenging Kings Course will play host to this year’s event.
Friday 9 June – Networking at the Blast
Networking with a difference – Bears vs Northamptonshire Steelbacks will provide the backdrop for an evening of networking. Our award-winning chefs will provide two-course dining as you soak up Edgbaston’s famous atmosphere and build your contact book in a room full of senior business leaders.
Friday 6 October – Warwickshire CCC Player Awards Dinner
A fine celebration of all things Warwickshire Cricket. Players, coaches, sponsors and supporters come together to celebrate the achievements of the club at an exclusive event hosted in Edgbaston’s Banqueting Suite. An event ideal for hosting clients or celebrating with colleagues.
Thursday 30 November – Bears Club Christmas Sporting Lunch
Celebrate the festivities with an afternoon of fine dining and sporting anecdotes. Bears Business Club members will come together for the last networking event of the year.
