Birmingham Bears has revealed the return of their popular coffee van tour across six locations to celebrate the new T20 launch event, Vitality Blast Off.

Bears on Tour is set to once again tour across the West Midlands from Tuesday 9 to Friday 12 May, for a six-stop road trip across Birmingham and Coventry, to highlight the start of the new Vitality Blast competition on Saturday 20 May at Edgbaston and the team’s kit, which is sustainably produced from recycled coffee beans.

The coffee van will launch at two city centre locations on Tuesday 9 May as it travels to BrindleyPlace and Cathedral Square, before heading to Hippodrome Square on Wednesday 10 May.

On Thursday 11 May, the van will park up at the Birmingham City University (BCU) campus, before visiting two locations in Coventry for its final day on Friday 12 May – Broadgate in Coventry city centre and Edgwick Park in Foleshill.

Throughout the four-day tour, the public will have the chance to enjoy a selection of free, freshly brewed hot drinks in branded Birmingham Bears cups. Players from Birmingham Bears will also be visiting the coffee van at selected locations, offering fans the opportunity to stop for a brew and meet their favourite player.

Fans who love their coffee as much as their live sport can take part in a prize draws at each location for the opportunity to win special prizes, including home tickets to catch the Bears in action in the Vitality Blast season this summer.

There are just over two weeks to go until Edgbaston hosts the new T20 launch event, Blast Off, on Saturday 20 May. The day will see four teams compete across two matches, including the Bears’ opener against Yorkshire Vikings, and fans can expect an atmosphere to rival Finals Day. Tickets are available from just £25, with under 16s £5.

Chris Airey, Head of Marketing at Edgbaston, said: “Supporting Birmingham Bears is about more than just cricket – it’s about the community and who the Bears represent.

“Last year, ‘Bears on Tour’ was a great way for us to get out and about and have a chance to interact with fans and locals across the region before kicking off another exciting season, and we can’t wait to visit even more locations and have a brew with even more of our supporters.”

Prices start from just £13 for adults. A wide range of tickets are available including group offers for bookings of six or more, hospitality offerings, while tickets for under 16s are priced at just £5. But hurry, Early Bird prices will end at midnight on Wednesday 3 May, with advance adult ticket prices starting from £17 from Thursday 4 May.
