The Bears, on home soil, reached the Final after a fine comeback win by 16 runs against Surrey in the Semi Final. For the Final, the Bears named an unchanged side while the Lightning made one change with Kabir Ali being replaced by England superstar Andrew Flintoff.

The Bears went into the day full of confidence after an impressive 19-run victory away at Essex in the Quarter-Finals, a match that featured an unbeaten 86 for Varun Chopra and 70 not out off 37 balls from Rikki Clarke.

For the Semi-Final, the Bears welcomed back England duo Chris Woakes and Ian Bell as Chopra’s side went in search of their first T20 title.
