Birmingham Sports Awards at Edgbaston

Edgbaston Stadium once again proved why it's one of the best venues in the Midlands for banqueting after successful hosting Birmingham Sports Awards in September.  The award presentation dinner celebrated and rewarded the outstanding achievements of Birmingham’s exceptional sporting successes. Across professional and amateur sport in the area, disabled and non-disabled people were recognised, which demonstrated to the wider community that Birmingham really is home to some of the most successful sporting talents and rising stars in the country today.

Edgbaston has now hosted this prestigious event on the last two occasions and we are extremely delighted and grateful to be selected to host this fabulous dinner next year too. This year, we hosted Birmingham Sports Awards in our Banqueting Suite with just over 400 guests. It was a stylish and high profile affair as we welcomed a host of sporting personalities to present each award. Throughout the night, guests enjoyed a a whole host of entertainment and were treated to a fantastic three-course meal prepared by our Executive Head Chef Dave Hill and his outstanding team. It was simply a night to remember!
