Haven Power wanted to use their partnership with Edgbaston to run conferences and entertain clients at some of the biggest events in cricket.

Haven Power are a specialist business electricity supplier providing 100% renewable electricity – at no extra cost – to national and global businesses consuming energy in the UK. They’re Edgbaston Stadium’s current energy supplier working in partnership to help to continue the sustainability work in all areas.

Using Edgbaston Stadium as a hub for their events, Haven Power held a conference and two hospitality events at the stadium in 2019.

Use of Edgbaston Stadium

When starting a new partnership with a business, we want them to feel like Edgbaston Stadium is part of their business and can be used whenever possible.

Haven Power hold their annual conference at Edgbaston in which they invite energy brokers & consultants and other trade representatives to explore the current market and promote what they’re doing. They also ran two other events which included full match day hospitality at Edgbaston.

Haven Power also filmed a case study at Edgbaston, while running a workshop for Edgbaston staff to understand how they could help improve the stadium’s use of energy.

Clients

Edgbaston Stadium have on-site facilities available for meetings from 8 to 800 guests. Our Banqueting Suite is suitable for large conferences, dinners, parties, match day hospitality, and much more. Partners have previously used suites to host conferences in the day before converting part of the room into a private suite for the evening to watch a Twenty20 match.

Edgbaston Stadium has unique opportunities to add to an event with the opportunity for a training session in the Indoor Cricket Centre with some Warwickshire players to give tips and guidance. We also have the opportunity to use our Directors and Coaches to offer leadership talks and presentations with the key focus on how cricket and business have correlation.
