Introduction to Hardball
Edgbaston Cricket Centre periodically run hardball courses aimed at beginners (8 to 11 year olds) on Saturday mornings.
These are group sessions and the players will have the opportunity to play with a hardball and experience batting with pads on and bowling with a hardball. Throughout the course they will work on their batting, bowling and fielding skills and get used to handling a hard ball.
Players are asked to bring their own batting equipment, if they have it, and also their own hardball to use.
