Birmingham has great public transport links and we strongly recommend that you consider public transport so that you can make the most of your day with us.
Birmingham New Street Station is the main rail hub for the city with connections from all over the country. There are regular trains to Manchester and London, with a journey time under 90 minutes. We recommend that you book your tickets in advance.
For more information about train times and how to book, please londonnorthwesternrailway.co.uk.
Matchday parking can be pre-booked at edgbaston.com for all Major Matches and Birmingham Bears fixtures at Edgbaston.
Please do not contemplate driving without first booking your car park space – there are only a limited number of spaces available and this will guarantee you a parking spot close to the stadium.
Edgbaston has secured car park sites at the nearby Moseley Ashfield Britannic Park (Pink Car Park, B13 8NQ) and Red Gra (Red Car Park, B29 7ES).
Shuttle Bus service will be available for all Major Matches and for selected Birmingham Bears fixtures. Please check the individual match Spectator Guide for details.
The 501 Shuttle Bus pick-up point is located from right outside New Street Station on Smallbrook Queensway (opposite TK Maxx and close to the Bullring). The service is convenient for users of both New Street and Moor Street Train Stations.
Buses will be running back from the stadium to the city centre after the close of play.
A return journey on the shuttle bus service is available for just £5 for adults and £3.50 for children. You can purchase tickets on the day from the driver.
There are regular local buses to the ground from south-west Birmingham and the city centre. National Express buses 45 and 47 have services between the city centre and Pershore Road which is a 2-minute walk to the ground.
More information on local buses can be found online at nxbus.co.uk.
