Gala Events once again hosted their annual Cheltenham Gold Cup Lunch in our superb Banqueting Suite at Edgbaston Stadium. The Gold Cup remains the most important and coveted prize in the world of steeple-chasing and this year over 300 people enjoyed a brilliant day at Edgbaston.
The event included special guests – Liverpool legend, England defender and SKY Sports Sport pundit Phil Thompson, and prolific former West Ham, Everton, Leicester City and England striker Tony Cottee, both of whom are renowned as quality speakers.
With live music from our great Irish band, a delicious three-course lunch, the full Cheltenham card on the giant screen, and an in-house bookmaker and SKY sports tipster, this was again a truly fantastic event and no doubt one of the best sporting lunches hosted at Edgbaston this year.
