We’ve launched a brand new event space at Edgbaston perfect for your next network event or drinks reception, introducing the 501*.
Named after West Indies legend Brian Lara’s record-breaking unbeaten 501 for Warwickshire in 1994, the new 501* suite brings a new sophisticated, stylish and modern appeal to the facilities at Edgbaston.
The innovative design of the room encapsulates Lara’s achievement with a tiled wall providing a ball-by-ball account of the innings and a plaque to greet you upon entering, dedicated to the events at Edgbaston on 6 June, 1994.
Based on the 1st floor of the South Stand, the facility captures the iconic pitch perfectly with a large glass fronted view. With an informal feel and dedicated bar, this new contemporary space is ideal for networking events, break-out sessions, drinks receptions or buffet-style dining and can accommodate for up to 170 people.
With an exciting year of cricket at Edgbaston, the new 501* will also be used as a hospitality facility for the ICC Cricket World Cup, the Ashes and Vitality Blast Finals Day.
501* hospitality is our informal package, being held in a spacious facility with a relaxed atmosphere. Packages include a complimentary bar, matchday programme, guest speaker, informal dining throughout the day and premium seating, on top of the stunning views provided from the 501*.
There are still 501* hospitality spaces available for the first Specsavers Ashes Test, from Thursday 1 to Monday 5 August, and Vitality Finals Day.
501* provides the perfect setting, with the backdrop of the famous Edgbaston pitch, for your next networking event or reception. With it’s own dedicated bar and kitchen, 501* can be booked with a variety of our excellent catering packages to make your event extra special.
