We’re excited to announce that Edgbaston Stadium’s very own pop-up restaurant, Elegant Eat, is back this November!
Located in the Warwickshire Suite at the UK’s second largest cricket stadium, this contemporary fine-dining restaurant overlooks the famous Edgbaston pitch, has its own bar and lounge area with guests being able to relax in very comfortable surroundings which reflect the spirit of fine-dining.
Join Head Chef David Hill and his team on 10 November to experience a fine dining 5-course taster menu with two additional chef surprise courses which will include a palate cleanser and an amuse-bouche.
Edgbaston Stadium is regarded as one of the best cricket venues both nationally and internationally and has hosted some of the most iconic matches in the history of this sport. Aside from cricket, one of the hidden gems here at the stadium is the exquisite food that is served from a fantastic team of dedicated and passionate chefs.
Our objective is to provide best quality in food and service and to deliver the best stadium food in the UK. We aim to showcase our passion for food and service and the Elegant Eat restaurant is an ideal way to promote something we are very proud of. Each menu has been carefully selected by Head Chef Dave Hill from seasonal local produce, helping to support our sustainability model.
After the success of the last Elegant Eat evening, myself and the chefs are extremely excited to be hosting the second sitting next month. We have really made a name for ourselves in the cricketing world and we believe the standard of our food and service is up there with the best outside of the sporting arena too.
Guests at the restaurant will experience a fine-dining taster menu where each course compliments the next, taking diners through a culinary journey.
The menu will be developed by Dave and four of his young chefs, Tom, Adam, Matt and Jake who have all created a course each. All four chefs are from the local town of Sutton Coldfield and have developed and advanced under Dave’s watchful eye, allowing them to develop a fantastic tasting menu combining traditional ingredients with fun and imaginative twists, showcasing the chef’s personalities.
This exclusive restaurant is only open for one more night this year on 10 November with sittings at 7pm, 7.30pm and 8pm. The set menu cost is £55 per headwith an extensive bar, offering a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
