Elegant Eat Restaurant
Last Wednesday saw the launch of Edgbaston’s new fine dining restaurant, Elegant Eat. The evening was the first of its kind at the Stadium and was held in the prestigious Warwickshire Suite overlooking the iconic cricket Stadium.
Head Chef, Dave Hill and his team produced a fantastic 5 course taster menu wowing guests with an array of different courses, each complimenting the next.
Claire Daniel, Head of Catering said, “The evening allowed our chefs to demonstrate the quality they produce outside of the cricket arena. The evening allowed Dave and the chefs to demonstrate the skill set they possess, wowing guests with a menu full of seasonal flavour and clever craftsmanship. It’s a great way to launch our new restaurant and I am extremely excited to get started planning the next Elegant Eat evening.”
Paul Fulford, Food and drink critic attended the evening and said he was, “knocked for six by Elegant Eat” and that “This was intelligent and technically accomplished cooking – bringing together ingredients in imaginative, surprising, skilled and satisfying ways”.
