
Edgbaston Stadium is now recruiting for a new Catering Manager.
This summer, Edgbaston will host the UK’s first ever day/night Test Match when England take on West Indies and the biggest domestic fixture in cricket in the NatWest T20 Blast Finals Day. In addition to these major match days, Birmingham Bears will be in action in 7 home T20 domestic matches.

We are looking for a new Catering Manager to join a dynamic team with passion for food and developing team members. At least 3 years experience at operations manager level. Successful candidate will have the pleasure of experiencing one of the best atmospheres in sport. Your job will be to provide outstanding service to all our customers working with diligence and pride.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the food and beverage provision for functions and events
- Supervise catering and waiting staff at functions
- Plan menus in consultation with chefs
- Recruit and train permanent and casual staff
- Organise, lead and motivate the catering team
- Ensure health and safety regulations are strictly observed
- Monitor the quality of the product and service provided
- Interact with customers
- Liaise with suppliers and clients
- Maximise sales and meet profit and financial expectations.

In 2011, Warwickshire County Cricket Club (WCCC) invested £32 Million in the redevelopment of the Edgbaston Stadium making the venue the second largest Cricket stadium in the UK.
