The annual Warwickshire CCC Golf Day returns in 2019 at the Forest of Arden, Marriott Golf’s flagship venue in the UK, on Wednesday 14 August.
Hosted on the majestic Arden Course, which is surrounded by ancient woodlands, natural lakes, and varieties of wildlife, including the famous deer that live amidst Lord Aylesford’s 10,000-acre estate, golfers will join the Warwickshire players and coaches for a round on a European Tour favourite.
"The Forest of Arden is one of Britain’s top golf resorts and we’re delighted to be hosting the Warwickshire Golf Day 2019 at such a prestigious venue."
Hosting five British Masters, seven English Opens and the European Senior Masters since 2017, the Donald Steel track can claim Colin Montgomerie, Darren Clarke, Thomas Bjorn and Barry Lane amongst its victors.
The Championship Course is a real treat for golfers of all abilities, who will no doubt be in awe of the natural terrain that the course winds through.
Following breakfast on arrival, each group of three will be notified to which Warwickshire player or coach will be completing their 4-ball before heading to the course for an 11am shotgun start.
During the day, golfers will take part in Longest Drive, Nearest the Pin and Beat the Pro competitions, and conclude the day with a two-course awards dinner.
“The Forest of Arden is one of Britain’s top golf resorts and we’re delighted to be hosting the Warwickshire Golf Day 2019 at such a prestigious venue,” said Ben Seifas, Commercial Partnerships Manager.
“This year we’re giving each team of three a member of the Warwickshire playing staff, giving them the opportunity to engage ahead of the new season.
“Last year’s event welcomed not only Commercial Partners and sponsors, but Members as well and I’d love to see a similar mix this year.”
The cost to enter a team of three with a Warwickshire player or coach is £600 + VAT.
