Marston\u2019s and Warwickshire County Cricket Club have signed a new deal to continue their long-standing partnership through its 20 year tenure, with a seven year extension running to 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The new agreement is one of the biggest Official Beer and supply partnerships in cricket and is worth more than seven figures. Marston\u2019s has been involved in supporting local, regional, county and national team cricket since the late 1990s, with the partnership with Warwickshire CCC now one of the longest standing beer sponsorship deals in sport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Part of the new agreement will see the development of the Moseley Arms Real Ale bar in the stadium\u2019s RES Wyatt Stand, with spectators now able to enjoy a great range of quality crafted beers at Edgbaston\u2019s biggest matches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Neil Snowball, Chief Executive of Warwickshire CCC, said: \u201cMarston\u2019s has been part of the Edgbaston family for many years and it\u2019s fantastic to secure a long-term extension to our partnership so that we can continue offering its famous ales to our loyal supporters and visiting fans from around the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cEdgbaston is hosting 35 major match cricket days until the end of 2019, with an Investec Test Match each summer, including England v India in 2018 and England v Australia in the Ashes in 2019. We\u2019re thrilled that Marston\u2019s will be part of one of the biggest period\u2019s in the stadium\u2019s history.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To celebrate the launch Neil Snowball, Warwickshire CCC Commercial Director Gareth Roberts, Club Captain Ian Bell and spin bowler Jeetan Patel welcomed Marston\u2019s CEO Ralph Findlay and Managing Director of Marston\u2019s Beer Company Richard Westwood to Edgbaston.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
