Tom has been an instrumental in assembling this melody of flavours. We sat down with Tom to get the lowdown on what to expect this time.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tell us about the new menu, what\u2019s the concept\/theme of the evening and what makes this edition of elegant eat different from the last one?<\/h3>\n<p>Our next sitting is in early February, so there is a temptation to create a Valentine&#8217;s menu, but we\u2019ve stayed away from all of that and created a really great seasonal menu. This menu will focus around parsnips, leeks and other roots. It\u2019s a warming menu with cinnamon and ginger tones. Talk us through the menu in a bit more detail, what\u2019s up first? Without wanting to give too much of the surprise away, we\u2019ve got a pretty special amuse-bouche to start and then we\u2019ll be serving Chicken and Waffle, which is a modern take on chicken liver served with onion jam, ice-cream and a pecan crumbs. It sounds a bit weird, but it really works.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p class='wp-block-quote__copy'>We\u2019re creating is a Fossilised Parsnip, for which we will create a caramelised curry parsnip pur\u00e9e, housed inside a crunchy outer casing.<\/p><cite> Tom Helliwell<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Are there any unique flavours or specially sourced ingredients in this edition of Elegant Eat?<\/h3>\n<p>Our main course is \u201cWell Done Beef\u201d, which will showcase some really interesting visual tricks on classic dish. One of the elements we\u2019re creating is a Fossilised Parsnip, for which we will create a caramelised curry parsnip pur\u00e9e, housed inside a crunchy outer casing. I\u2019m not going to say too much more about it, but there will be a few other surprises in the dish as well.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is your favourite course and why?<\/h3>\n<p>I\u2019ll be making the Well Done Beef on the evening, so that\u2019s definitely my favourite course, but fish course is also pretty special. We\u2019ve created a Fish Nugget made from smoked haddock and creme fraiche milk gel, with pickled mustard seeds and curried mango. It\u2019s very similar to a Fish and Chip curry sauce recipe, but obviously with a fine dining twist.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What course do you think will be the most memorable course of the evening?<\/h3>\n<p>Without a doubt the Beef will be the star of the show, but don&#8217;t take my word for it, come down and taste it for yourself.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Book your place today<\/h2>\n<p>This exclusive restaurant is open on\u00a0Friday 3\u00a0February with sittings at 7pm, 7.30pm, 8pm and 8.30pm. The set menu cost\u00a0is\u00a0\u00a355 per headwith\u00a0an extensive bar, offering a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and a wine flight which compliments each dish.<\/p>\n<p>There are limited spaces available for the second sitting of our Elegant Eat restaurant.
