As a result of this process, our suppliers are providing new technology to meet the changing needs of our clients who wish to stage hybrid or virtual events.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Conferences &amp; Events<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Edgbaston Stadium\u2019s conference and events facilities will reopen from Monday 6 July. To support this, we\u2019ve created a six-point plan that has been designed to provide greater reassurance to all delegates in response to COVID-19.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Space and Social Distancing<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 all rooms having outdoor spaces, the introduction of strict social distancing measures and clear signage and guidance around the venue<\/li><li><strong>Hygiene and Cleanliness<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 new and improved cleaning procedures and providing a high level of hand sanitiser dispensers<\/li><li><strong>Contact Free Catering<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 pre-packaged food and drink prepared on-site with increased safety and maintaining Edgbaston\u2019s outstanding range of fresh produce<\/li><li><strong>Enhanced Technology<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 increased options for clients, including video conferencing, live streaming and virtual tours<\/li><li><strong>Staff Fully Trained<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 all staff working to new operational procedures and have PPE tailored to their role<\/li><li><strong>Communication<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 regular updates from our events team throughout the planning process<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Our events teams are now taking bookings for any event from Monday 6 July, subject to our updated <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/edgbaston.com\/events\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/Safe-Meetings-Events-at-Edgbaston-1.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">room capacities<\/a> which follow the UK Government&#8217;s guidance on 2m social distancing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please do contact the conference and events team between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday, on 0121 369 1994 (option 3) or email&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:events@edgbaston.com\">events@edgbaston.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"post-cta\">\n            <h3>Safe Meetings &amp; Events at Edgbaston Events<\/h3>\n        \t\t<p>Edgbaston Events continues to operation Safe Meetings &amp; Events.
