{"id":2992,"date":"2020-06-16T07:12:43","date_gmt":"2020-06-16T07:12:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/edgbaston.com\/events\/?p=2992"},"modified":"2020-06-16T07:48:01","modified_gmt":"2020-06-16T07:48:01","slug":"edgbaston-events-unveil-safe-meetings-events-promise","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/edgbaston.com\/events\/news\/edgbaston-events-unveil-safe-meetings-events-promise\/","title":{"rendered":"Edgbaston Events unveil Safe Meetings &#038; Events Promise"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>To support this, we&#8217;ve created a six-point plan that has been designed to provide greater reassurance to all delegates in response to COVID-19.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Space and Social Distancing<\/strong> \u2013 all rooms having outdoor spaces, the introduction of strict social distancing measures and clear signage and guidance around the venue<\/li><li><strong>Hygiene and Cleanliness<\/strong> \u2013 new and improved cleaning procedures and providing a high level of hand sanitiser dispensers<\/li><li><strong>Contact Free Catering<\/strong> \u2013 pre-packaged food and drink prepared on-site with increased safety and maintaining Edgbaston\u2019s outstanding range of fresh produce<\/li><li><strong>Enhanced Technology<\/strong> \u2013 increased options for clients, including video conferencing, live streaming and virtual tours<\/li><li><strong>Staff Fully Trained<\/strong> \u2013 all staff working to new operational procedures and have PPE tailored to their role<\/li><li><strong>Communication<\/strong> \u2013 regular updates from our events team throughout the planning process<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Maria Jones, Head of Conference &amp; Events Sales at Edgbaston Events, said: \u201cOur 6 July reopening date is something that we\u2019ve been working towards throughout this lockdown period, and these new working plans have been developed following close consultation with our established clients, our partners within Compass Group, Lime Venues Portfolio and Levy Restaurants, and our technology partner PTI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe pride ourselves as being a business that regularly innovates and constantly assesses new market opportunities.
