Key initiatives include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Environmental impact:<\/strong> The stadium is now powered entirely by 100% renewable electricity, has reduced waste by 33% since 2019, and cut annual energy usage by more than 21,000 kWh through LED lighting upgrades. Single-use plastic alternatives have been eliminated at scale, while the introduction of a Drone Show has provided a visually stunning, low-impact alternative to traditional fireworks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Community benefit:<\/strong> Every event booking contributes to the <a href=\"https:\/\/edgbaston.com\/foundation\/\">Warwickshire Cricket Foundation<\/a>, which supports over 100 schools across Birmingham, delivering sport, education, and opportunities to thousands of children.
