If I’m feeling unwell, can I still attend this match?

If you are unwell or have any COVID-19 symptoms, we advise that you stay at home.

You are responsible for your own health. You should act in ways that protect your health and the health of others and avoid acting in a way that might risk the health of others at the stadium.

We advise that you do not attend if you have any COVID-19 symptoms:

  • Temperature of 37.8 degrees or above
  • New continuous cough
  • Loss of sense of taste/smell
  • Any other COVID-19 symptoms officially recognised

Will fans require any form of testing or COVID vaccination to enter the venue?

No. There is no requirement to show any form of testing or your COVID Status for this fixture.

Spectators will just require your match ticket for entry.

Can I give my ticket to someone else if someone in my party can’t attend?

Yes. You can give your ticket to someone else if someone in your party can no longer attend.

Please note, the name on the ticket does not need to match the attendee on the day.

How do I sell tickets on the Ticket Exchange re-sale platform?

Edgbaston has launched an official Ticket Exchange re-sale platform to allow ticket buyers who can no longer attend a Major Match to sell their tickets, at no charge, to other supporters.

It’s easy to sell tickets via the platform. Follow the step-by-step guide below:

  1. Log-in to your online ticket account at tickets.edgbaston.com
  2. On My Homepage, scroll down and click on View Tickets
  3. Find the tickets you want to re-sell and follow the instructions on screen

Please note, tickets can only be sold at face value or less.

Once tickets have been sold on the re-sale platform, you can no longer access these tickets and you will automatically receive a refund back to your original payment method (please allow 3-5 working days). If your card is no longer valid, your refund will appear as credit on your account and you can contact us to organise alternative payment back to you.

If you have listed tickets on to the Ticket Exchange and change your mind, you can re-claim your tickets if they haven’t already been sold via your account.

If you have any questions, please email tickets@edgbaston.com.

I have paid for postage, when will I receive my tickets in the post?

Unfortunately, no tickets will be sent in the post. All tickets will be available via the Edgbaston app or from the lead booker’s online account.

If you have paid for postage, you will receive an automatic refund back to the original payment method around the date of the fixture. Please allow up to 10 working days to receive this.

What will happen if there is bad weather?

If there is bad weather on the day and play does not take place or is restricted, tickets holders will be entitled to an automatic refund to the original payment method.

You will be entitled to a refund option of the match ticket value only subject to the below: (a) non admittance of spectators – a full refund; (b) if the second semi-final does not achieve a result – a full 100%; (c) if both semi-final matches do achieve a result but (i) there are zero to 10 overs played of the Final (the last scheduled match of the day) AND (ii) no result is obtained in the Final – a 50% refund.  In no other circumstances can money be refunded.

Please note that in the event that the final is not completed on the scheduled day, there is a reserve day (the following day).  In this event, your ticket will be valid for entry on the reserve day and you will still be entitled to claim your refund, if applicable.

Will food and drink be available to purchase on the day?

Yes, food and drink, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, will be available around the stadium for spectators. Availability will vary depending on fixture.

Spectators can order food and drink for Click & Collect from their seat using the Edgbaston app, available from selected bars on selected match days. To order, simply download the Edgbaston app on iOS or Android and visit the Shop section.

Spectators are allowed and encouraged to bring their own food and drink into the stadium, but no alcohol or glass bottles are allowed at International, The Hundred or Vitality Blast fixtures.

Can I bring food and drink into the ground?

Yes, spectators can bring in their own food and drink subject to the following restrictions:

Why have my seats been moved from my original booking?

Due to COVID restrictions, we have had to move a small number of seats and some ticket holders will have been allocated new seats.

Seats have been moved to ensure sufficient social distancing is in place from the players and the dressing rooms, which will be allocated in the RES Wyatt Stand.

We apologise to all ticket holders who have been affected, but the good news is that we’ve been able to secure you another seat for this match and you will be able to attend.

Will social distancing be in place for this fixture?

As per the latest UK Government guidelines, social distancing is no longer required.

With COVID-19 still in circulation, we understand that some people are likely to feel more comfortable than others about attending.

That’s why we are asking everyone to consider taking some small voluntary actions to protect each other and help every ticket holder to feel comfortable.

We’d encourage everyone to take a Lateral Flow Test prior to attending, unless you’ve already been double vaccinated at least two weeks prior. We would also encourage you to wear a face covering while moving around.
