Enter the Ballot

Best way to get access to tickets is by entering the Ballot, which is free to do.

How do I buy Major Match tickets?

Tickets for our Major Matches in 2023, including both Men’s and Women’s Ashes, will go on general sale from 10am on Tuesday 1 November.

Demand will be very high and fans can secure priority access to tickets by:

  • Purchasing Membership for the 2023 season, which is available from just £35 with our Priority Club.
  • Entering the Ballot online here.

Following the priority windows and the Ballot process, any remaining tickets will go on general sale at tickets.edgbaston.com (subject to availability).

 

Priority Windows

2023 Full Club Members will have first access to purchase tickets from 10am on Tuesday 27 September. Membership and tickets can be purchased online, by calling 0330 551 1994 (9am-5pm, Mon-Fri) or at Store ’94 (10am-4pm, Mon-Fri).

2023 Priority Club Members will have priority access to purchase tickets from 10am on Tuesday 11 October.

Members will get access to tickets at some of the best prices if purchased before midnight on Sunday 16 October.

 

Enter the Ballot

For those who do not have a Membership, you can enter our Ballot for the best chance to get tickets before they go on general sale (subject to availability).

Ballot is free to enter and will close at midnight on Tuesday 18 October. Winners will then be contacted shortly after with details on how to purchase tickets.

Fans can purchase up to six tickets per day. If you wish to purchase more, please contact the Club directly.

A maximum of two tickets can be purchased in Member areas.

Please note: All tickets are subject to availability and we encourage supporters to purchase their tickets as early as possible.

Is there a Family Stand at Edgbaston?

Yes, the Selco Builders Warehouse Family Stand is located in Blocks 1-3. The family-friendly stand, which is alcohol-free, is open on all match days.

No alcohol is allowed to be consumed when seated in the Blocks 1-3 and this will be monitored by stewards on match days.

Behind this stand, concessions will be serving family-friendly food and drink and no alcohol will be served.

If you have tickets for the Family Stand and wish to purchase alcohol, you may do so at concessions located around the ground, but you will not be allowed entry into the Family Stand with alcohol.

 

What accessibility facilities are available for spectators?

At Edgbaston we pride ourselves on being able to offer world-class facilities that are accessible to everyone.

Around the ground there are a number of wheelchair user areas, which are located within the stands ensuring that fans are still a part of the fantastic Edgbaston atmosphere. The stadium is also accessibility friendly with a host of lifts, ramps and staircases around the ground. Additionally on match days our stewarding team are available to provide assistance and direction for all fans.

Seats

We have wheelchair access seating in the West Upper, South Lower and Eric Hollies. There are also a selection of seats on the Skyline and in our two Members areas; the Tom Dollery Lounge and the David Heath Suite.

 

Parking

A limited number of disabled parking spaces are available on-site at Edgbaston Stadium. We encourage anyone seeking to purchase disabled parking to do so as early as possible to avoid disappointment.

Multifaith Room

Multifaith Rooms are available in the South Stand on the first floor, next to the 501* Lounge, and behind the Selco Builders Warehouse Family Stand.

Speak to one of our friendly stewards who can help direct you to one of the room.

 

Sensory Rooms

Sensory Rooms are available for children and adults with sensory processing issues to attend a match in a calm environment at Edgbaston Stadium.

The specially designed spaces are located in the South Stand and in the RES Wyatt Stand.

If you wish to access one of these rooms, please speak to one of our friendly stewards who can help or contact us before your visit by emailing customerservices@edgbaston.com.

If the match or my tickets are cancelled, can I claim a refund?

Yes, you can buy with confidence knowing that you can claim a refund if your fixture doesn’t go ahead.

Our Ticket Refund Guarantee means if your fixture or tickets are cancelled due to health and safety reasons, you will be eligible for a refund for the value of your tickets, you can use your tickets for another game this season or you can accept a credit option.

Please note, booking fees are non-refundable.

In a situation where we have to reduce our capacity and are required to cancel a proportion of tickets, we have discretion as to which tickets to cancel. In such circumstances, you will again be eligible for a refund for the value of your tickets.

How do I sell tickets on the Ticket Exchange re-sale platform?

Edgbaston has launched an official Ticket Exchange re-sale platform to allow ticket buyers who can no longer attend a Major Match to sell their tickets, at no charge, to other supporters.

It’s easy to sell tickets via the platform. Follow the step-by-step guide below:

  1. Log-in to your online ticket account at tickets.edgbaston.com
  2. On My Homepage, scroll down and click on View Tickets
  3. Find the tickets you want to re-sell and follow the instructions on screen

Please note, tickets can only be sold at face value or less.

Once tickets have been sold on the re-sale platform, you can no longer access these tickets and you will automatically receive a refund back to your original payment method (please allow 3-5 working days). If your card is no longer valid, your refund will appear as credit on your account and you can contact us to organise alternative payment back to you.

If you have listed tickets on to the Ticket Exchange and change your mind, you can re-claim your tickets if they haven’t already been sold via your account.

Will Car Parking be available to purchase?

We encourage spectators, who are able to, to leave the car at home and use public transport wherever possible.

Off-site parking is available to purchase in advance for all Major Matches, Vitality Blast T20 and The Hundred matches at Edgbaston.

Parking will be available at Moseley Ashfield Britannic Park (Pink Car Park, B13 8NQ) and can be purchase in advance online here. This site is around a 15-minute walk to the stadium.

A limited number of on-site Accessible Parking is available for Blue Badge holders to book on a first-come, first-serve basis online here. If you have any questions about Accessible Parking, please email tickets@edgbaston.com.

Refund policy for England Men v Australia Ashes Test tickets

For Days 1 to 5 of the Test Match: If, for the day for which the ticket is valid, play does not take place OR play is restricted, you will be entitled to a refund of only the match ticket value subject to there being: (a) zero to 15 overs played – a full refund; (b) 15.1 overs to 30 overs played – a 50% refund. In no other circumstances can money be refunded.

Refunds will be made automatically to the purchaser only, via the original payment method refunding to a debit or credit card or by sending a cheque. For refund queries please email tickets@edgbaston.com. Also visit ecb.co.uk/refundscheme. Please allow 30 days for your refund to be processed.

Refund policy for England Men v New Zealand IT20 tickets

If, for the day for which the ticket is valid, play does not take place OR play is restricted, you will be entitled to a refund of only the match ticket value subject to there being: (a) zero to 10 overs are played and no result is obtained – a full refund; (b) 10.1 overs to 20 overs are played and no result is obtained – a 50% refund. In no other circumstances can money be refunded.

Refund policy for Vitality Blast Finals Day tickets

If, for the day for which the ticket is valid (where the date of the match has changed this means the new date of the match), venues are unable to admit spectators for any reason (for example, due to COVID-19) OR play does not take place OR play is restricted, you will be entitled to a refund option of the match ticket value only subject to the below: (a) non admittance of spectators – a full refund(b) if the second semi-final does not achieve a result – a full 100%; (c) if both semi-final matches do achieve a result but (i) there are zero to 10 overs played of the T20 Final (the last scheduled match of the day) AND (ii) no result is obtained in the T20 Final – a 50% refund.  In no other circumstances can money be refunded.

In respect of tickets purchased in advance for the day on which this ticket is valid, an option of credit or refund will be available. Refunds will be made by Warwickshire County Cricket Club to the original purchaser only, either by refunding his or her debit or credit card or by sending a cheque. In respect of tickets purchased at the Ground on the day for which this ticket is valid, refunds may be claimed by sending this ticket with your name and address in block capitals to Warwickshire County Cricket Club, Edgbaston Road, Edgbaston, Birmingham, B5 7QU within 28 days of the Match date.  For refund queries telephone 0121 369 1994. Also visit ecb.co.uk/refundscheme. Please allow 30 days from the receipt of the claim for your refund to be processed.

Please note that in the event that the final is not completed on the scheduled day, there is a reserve day (the following day). In this event, your ticket will be valid for entry on the reserve day and you will still be entitled to claim your refund, if applicable.
