How can I buy Vitality Blast tickets?

Tickets for Vitality Blast fixtures at Edgbaston in 2024 will go on general sale from 10am on Tuesday 20 February.

Fans can save by purchasing tickets in advance of the day of the fixture online at tickets.edgbaston.com or over the phone by calling 0330 551 1994 (9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday).

Tickets can also be purchased on the day from the Ticket Office at Store ’94, but prices will rise on the day.

When purchasing tickets, you will be asked which stand you would like to sit in. For the Worcestershire Rapids local derby and Vitality Blast Off double-header, you will be able to pick your seat.

Members and Season Pass holders are required to claim tickets for the Worcestershire Rapids local derby and Vitality Blast Off via your online account. For all other games, you will be able to show your Membership Card or Season Pass on entry.

I am a Member or Season Pass holder, do I need to claim tickets?

Members and Season Pass holders are required to claim their ticket for our local derby against Worcestershire Rapids on Friday 23 June and Vitality Blast Off on Saturday 20 May.

Members and Season Pass holders can claim their ticket, free of charge, and purchase any additional tickets online at tickets.edgbaston.com.

We will email all Members with details.

To claim your ticket, Members will be required to log-in online and select the appropriate fixture. Please select the seat you would like and select the ‘Member T20 Comp’ ticket, which will be free of charge. You will also be able to claim any guest passes and purchase additional tickets online.

For a step-by-step guide, please click here.

For all matches except Worcestershire Rapids and Blast Off, Members and Season Pass holders can simply show their card on entry.

If you need any help or have any questions, please email tickets@edgbaston.com or call 0330 551 1994 (9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday).

What plans do you have in place if capacities have to be reduced?

In the event that, due to health and safety reasons, we can only admit a limited number of ticket holders, the Club will select attendees on the following criteria in priority order:

  • Members – those with a valid 2022 Membership, who wish to attend
  • Season Pass holders – those with a 2022 T20 Season Pass, who wish to attend
  • Ticket purchasers – we will select ticket purchasers based on the time of purchase, with those who purchased first receiving priority

When purchasing tickets, you will be asked to select the stand you wish to sit in. If there is no availability left in your selected stand, you will be allocated a seat in a different stand.

We reserve the right to cancel your ticket due to events beyond our reasonable control and/or should we believe it is reasonable to do so on health and safety grounds. If we cancel your ticket in such circumstances, you will be eligible for a refund of the face value of the tickets (which shall not include any initial booking/administration fees, if applicable, which shall be non-refundable). We have absolute discretion as to which tickets to cancel in a situation where reduced capacity at the venue result in a requirement to cancel a proportion of tickets.

If the match or my tickets are cancelled, can I claim a refund?

Yes, you can buy with confidence knowing that you can claim a refund if your fixture doesn’t go ahead.

Our Ticket Refund Guarantee means if your fixture or tickets are cancelled due to health and safety reasons, you will be eligible for a refund for the value of your tickets, you can use your tickets for another game this season or you can accept a credit option.

Please note, booking fees are non-refundable.

In a situation where we have to reduce our capacity and are required to cancel a proportion of tickets, we have discretion as to which tickets to cancel. In such circumstances, you will again be eligible for a refund for the value of your tickets.

I have credit in my online account. Can I use this to purchase tickets?

Yes, absolutely. Those with credit in their account can use it to purchase tickets, Membership or Season Passes for 2022.

The easiest way to use your credit is online. Below is a step-by-step guide on how to use the credit in your online account to purchase Major Match tickets.

  1. Select the fixture and seats you want to purchase, as usual, online at tickets.edgbaston.com and click Add To Cart.
  2. On the Basket page, click Buy Now. Then on the next page select your Delivery Method and click Continue.
  3. On the Order Summary page, scroll down and before you proceed to payment, you will see a section called ‘Use your credit to pay for your order’. On this section, the tick box will be checked and it will tell you how much credit you have to use. The value of your credit will be deducted from your Amount Due balance.
  4. Check the Terms & Conditions ticket box and click ‘Proceed to Payment’.
  5. If there is any balance left to pay, you will need to add a payment method at this stage. Once complete, you will receive a booking confirmation via email with your booking details.

You can also use your credit when purchasing tickets over the phone by calling 0330 551 1994 (9am-5pm, Mon-Fri) or in-person at Store ’94 (10am-4pm, Mon-Fri).

Credit must be used by the end of 2022.

How do I sell tickets on the Ticket Exchange re-sale platform?

Edgbaston has launched an official Ticket Exchange re-sale platform to allow ticket buyers who can no longer attend a Major Match to sell their tickets, at no charge, to other supporters.

It’s easy to sell tickets via the platform. Follow the step-by-step guide below:

  1. Log-in to your online ticket account at tickets.edgbaston.com
  2. On My Homepage, scroll down and click on View Tickets
  3. Find the tickets you want to re-sell and follow the instructions on screen

Please note, tickets can only be sold at face value or less.

Once tickets have been sold on the re-sale platform, you can no longer access these tickets and you will automatically receive a refund back to your original payment method (please allow 3-5 working days). If your card is no longer valid, your refund will appear as credit on your account and you can contact us to organise alternative payment back to you.

If you have listed tickets on to the Ticket Exchange and change your mind, you can re-claim your tickets if they haven’t already been sold via your account.

If you have any questions, please email tickets@edgbaston.com.

What procedures have been put in place to keep Edgbaston safe?

Since the outbreak of COVID-19, we have been working hard to make sure Edgbaston can welcome staff, players and fans back safely.

We know things can change and we’ve made our approach flexible so we can react to any changes to the guidelines. Hopefully, we won’t need to.

As part of this, we have introduced a number of new and improved health, safety and cleanliness procedures to provide greater reassurance to all visitors.

  • Cleanliness – New and improved cleaning procedures are in place (making sure the stadium remains clean) and we will have plenty of hand sanitiser dispensers available around the stadium.
  • Catering – Food and drink will be prepared on-site and will be as good as ever, with a wide range of choices and fresh produce available.
  • Technology – We will be utilising the latest technology and the new Edgbaston app (download it today!) to offer a contactless entry into the stadium, option to view wait times at all Edgbaston bars and click and collect ordering for food and drink. We are also a cashless stadium.
  • Staff – All staff are fully trained and working to new operational procedures and will have suitable PPE tailored to their role.
  • Communication – Ticket buyers will have regular communications from the Club pre-arrival, on-the-day and post event with all the information they need for their day with us.

What is the refund policy for Vitality Blast fixtures?

If, for the day for which the ticket is valid, play is restricted to 9.5 overs or less and no result is obtained, then you will be entitled to a refund for the value of your tickets. Refunds will be processed automatically back to the original payment method.

This policy applies to paid-for match tickets only. A refund is not available for complimentary tickets.

Please note, no refunds will be issued on the day of the fixture. Please allow 60 days from receipt of claim for us to process your refund. For refund queries please email tickets@edgbaston.com.

All claims for refunds will be paid to the original payment card. If this is no longer valid, your refund will be issued by cheque.
