How can I buy Vitality Blast tickets?

Vitality Blast tickets are now on general sale for all home Birmingham Bears games in 2021, with Early Bird tickets currently available from only £15.

Tickets can be purchased online at tickets.edgbaston.com or over the phone by calling 0330 551 1994 (9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday).

When purchasing tickets, you will be asked which stand you would like to sit in. Closer to the day of the fixture, the Club will allocate you a seat within this stand, so you will have a reserved seat on the day.

If due to restricted capacities there is no longer availability left in your selected stand, you may be allocated a seat in a different stand (subject to availability).

If we have to cancel any tickets due to a lower capacity, ticket buyers will be able to claim a refund or use their ticket for another game this summer. A credit option will also be available.

Please note, our Ticket Office at Edgbaston Stadium is currently closed due to Government guidelines. Once the latest national lockdown is lifted, we will advise on new opening times.

I am a Member, do I need to claim tickets?

Yes. To ensure we can safely accommodate Members at our Vitality Blast games, Members will be required to claim tickets, without charge,
for the games you wish to attend this summer.

Season Pass holders for 2021 will also be required to claim tickets for the games they plan to attend.

Members and Season Pass holders can claim one free ticket per match online. Please select the stand you would like to sit in and select the ‘Member T20 Comp’ ticket, which will be free of charge. You will also be able to purchase any additional tickets online.

If you wish to use any of your Guest Passes for 2021, you can currently do this by calling 0330 551 1994 (9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday).

If you need any help or have any questions, please email tickets@edgbaston.com.

What plans do you have in place if capacities have to be reduced?

In the event that, due to health and safety reasons, we can only admit a limited number of ticket holders, the Club will select attendees on the following criteria in priority order:

  • Members – those with a valid 2021 Membership, who wish to attend
  • Season Pass holders – those with a 2021 T20 Season Pass, who wish to attend
  • Ticket purchasers – we will select ticket purchasers based on the time of purchase, with those who purchased first receiving priority

When purchasing tickets, you will be asked to select the stand you wish to sit in. If you are successful in securing a ticket to the match once capacities are confirmed, we will allocate you a seat within this stand.

If there is no availability left in your selected stand, you will be allocated a seat in a different stand.

We reserve the right to cancel your ticket due to events beyond our reasonable control and/or should we believe it is reasonable to do so on health and safety grounds. If we cancel your ticket in such circumstances, you will be eligible for a refund of the face value of the tickets (which shall not include any initial booking/administration fees, if applicable, which shall be non-refundable). We have absolute discretion as to which tickets to cancel in a situation where reduced capacity at the venue result in a requirement to cancel a proportion of tickets.

If the match or my tickets are cancelled, can I claim a refund?

Yes, you can buy with confidence knowing that you can claim a refund if your fixture doesn’t go ahead.

Our Ticket Refund Guarantee means if your fixture or tickets are cancelled due to health and safety reasons, you will be eligible for a refund for the value of your tickets, you can use your tickets for another game this season or you can accept a credit option.

Please note, booking fees are non-refundable.

In a situation where we have to reduce our capacity and are required to cancel a proportion of tickets, we have discretion as to which tickets to cancel. In such circumstances, you will again be eligible for a refund for the value of your tickets.

I have credit in my online account. Can I use this to purchase tickets?

Yes, absolutely. Those with credit in their account can use it to purchase tickets, Membership or Season Passes for 2021.

The easiest way to use your credit is online. Below is a step-by-step guide on how to use the credit in your online account to purchase Major Match tickets.

  1. Select the fixture and seats you want to purchase, as usual, online at tickets.edgbaston.com and click Add To Cart.
  2. On the Basket page, click Buy Now. Then on the next page select your Delivery Method and click Continue.
  3. On the Order Summary page, scroll down and before you proceed to payment, you will see a section called ‘Use your credit to pay for your order’. On this section, the tick box will be checked and it will tell you how much credit you have to use. The value of your credit will be deducted from your Amount Due balance.
  4. Check the Terms & Conditions ticket box and click ‘Proceed to Payment’.
  5. If there is any balance left to pay, you will need to add a payment method at this stage. Once complete, you will receive a booking confirmation via email with your booking details.

You can also use your credit when purchasing tickets over the phone by calling 0121 369 1994 (9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday).

Credit can also be used to purchase Major Match tickets, domestic tickets or Membership in 2022.

How do I sell tickets on the Ticket Exchange re-sale platform?

Edgbaston has launched an official Ticket Exchange re-sale platform to allow ticket buyers who can no longer attend a Major Match in 2021 to sell their tickets, at no charge, to other supporters.

It’s easy to sell tickets via the platform. Follow the step-by-step guide below:

  1. Log-in to your online ticket account at tickets.edgbaston.com
  2. On My Homepage, scroll down and click on View Tickets
  3. Find the tickets you want to re-sell and follow the instructions on screen

Please note, tickets can only be sold at face value or less.

Once tickets have been sold on the re-sale platform, you can no longer access these tickets and you will automatically receive a refund back to your original payment method (please allow 3-5 working days). If your card is no longer valid, your refund will appear as credit on your account and you can contact us to organise alternative payment back to you.

If you have listed tickets on to the Ticket Exchange and change your mind, you can re-claim your tickets if they haven’t already been sold via your account.

If you have any questions, please email tickets@edgbaston.com.

When will Car Parking be available to purchase for 2021 fixtures?

Car parking for 2021 will be available to purchase at a later date, once the details have been confirmed. Once available, this will be communicated to all tickets buyers via email and on our website.

What procedures have been put in place to make Edgbaston a safe venue?

Since the outbreak of COVID-19, we have been working hard to make sure Edgbaston follows all UK Government and local guidelines to allow us to re-open to the public safely.

We know things can change and we’ve made our approach flexible so we can react to any changes to the guidelines, when necessary.

As part of this, we have introduced a number of new and improved health, safety and cleanliness procedures to provide greater reassurance to all visitors as part of Our Promise, a six-point plan in response to COVID-19.

  • Social Distancing – Social distancing measures (based on guidelines at the time) will be in place with clear guidance around the venue. We have also installed a one-way system to ensure visitors can navigate the stadium safely.
  • Hygiene & Cleanliness – New and improved cleaning procedures are in place and we will provide a high level of hand sanitiser dispensers around the stadium.
  • Contact Free Catering – Food and drink will be prepared on-site and maintaining Edgbaston’s outstanding quality, wide range of choices and fresh produce.
  • Enhanced Technology – Utilising the latest technology and the new Edgbaston app to offer a contactless entry into the stadium, latest match information, way-finding and click and collect ordering for food and drink.
  • Staff Fully Trained – All staff are fully trained and working to new operational procedures and will have PPE tailored to their role.
  • Communication – Ticket buyers will have regular communications from the Club pre-arrival, on-the-day and post event.

Refund policy for Vitality Blast fixtures

If, for the day for which the ticket is valid, venues are unable to admit spectators OR play does not take place OR play is restricted to 9.5 overs or less and no result is obtained, then you will be entitled to a refund for the value of your tickets or a credit option or the right to use it for any other Birmingham Bears Vitality Blast group match, Warwickshire group fixture in the Royal London Cup or a day of County Championship cricket at Edgbaston Stadium during the same season.

This policy applies to paid-for match tickets only. A refund is not available for complimentary tickets.

To claim your refund, all tickets buyers will need to complete a refund form, which will be sent via email and can be viewed online at edgbaston.com/bears-refund, by the specified deadline date. All refund requests must be received by the end of the season.

Please note, no refunds will be issued on the day of the fixture. Please allow 60 days from receipt of claim for us to process your refund. For refund queries please call 0121 369 1994. All claims for refunds will be paid to the original payment card. If this is no longer valid, your refund will be issued by cheque.

To accept credit, no action is required and after the deadline has passed, the credit will appear in your online account. This can be used to purchase Membership, international tickets or domestic tickets at Edgbaston for later in 2021 or in 2022.

To exchange your ticket(s) for another Birmingham Bears Vitality Blast group match or County Championship or Royal London Cup match, please bring your ticket with you to the club shop prior to the fixture or we will exchange your ticket(s) at the gate on the day of the game.
