Report: Warwickshire v Nottinghamshire, Second XI Championship
Warwickshire suffered defeat in the Second XI Championship against Nottinghamshire, going down by an innings and 93 runs at the Edgbaston Community Sports Ground.
It started well for the Bears on the first day when Adam Hose (139 from 160 balls with 25 fours and a six) and Dan Mousley (100, 169 balls, 16 fours, one six) added 236 for the second wicket.
Only Ethan Brookes (55, 136 balls, eight fours) stayed long thereafter, though, as the Bears were bowled out for 360.

Nottinghamshire then piled up 660 for eight declared, with numbers two, three, four and five all scoring centuries against an attack in which Ryan Sidebottom and George Garrett each took two wickets.
Second time around, the Bears were bowled out for 220 with only skipper Ed Pollock (62, 64 balls, ten fours, two sixes) and Ben Wells (47, 109 balls, five fours) passing 30).
